MOSO® Bamboo develops a range of sustainable bamboo products for architectural and design applications. MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® beams are solid elements suitable for custom-made stairs, outdoor furniture, shutters, façades, and other architectural uses. Their strength and stability are achieved through MOSO® Bamboo’s unique Thermo-Density® process, which involves heat treatment and compression without the use of harmful chemical additives such as fire retardants. The material reaches the highest durability class under EU standards and meets European fire safety class B-s1-d0.
When exposed to outdoor conditions, the colour of MOSO® Bamboo X-treme® beams naturally evolves under the effects of sunlight, rain, frost, and wind. Over time, the surface develops a weathered silver-grey tone that enhances its natural look without affecting the product’s quality or durability.
