Stabilized Aluminum Foam Facade in Inyeon Entertainment | Alusion

Inyeon Entertainment was designed by the architecture firm NORFI, located in Seoul, South Korea. When NORFI first embarked on the design and construction of the building's main lines, it didn't view the project as a simple architectural endeavor. Instead, NORFI translated the linear language into a sculptural language, infused with essence.

The use of Alusion Stabilized Aluminum Foam on the building facade helped to approach the project from a new perspective. It creates a dynamic flow that enhances spatiality, changing in real time thanks to the lights and shadows generated by its panels. The facade allows for regulation the permeability of the building, hiding certain spaces while revealing others in a more exposed way.

The Aluminum Foam panels can be resin coated, and water jet cut with a specialized WJ process only by Cymat Technologies Ltd. Special powder coatings and wet paints can be applied which render the product 100% salt resistant and chemically resistant.
