Kinetic Facades presents Motion 10500, a horizontal hinged façade shading system.
Motion 10500 from Kinetic Facades moves horizontally, and the sashes can be operated independently or in a stacked configuration. The movement is done manually or electrically via a belt drive motor. The max travel is 6 meters per cluster of sliding sashes for electrically operated motion. The maximum electrically operated facade is 12 meters provided that two facing clusters are installed.
Characteristics
The sash height can be up to 5m and its width up to 4 meters. The system allows for the construction of wall recessed, stepped as well as facing leaves in any configuration, and it is an ideal solution for projects where it is important to allow ease of passage through the shading system. It’s also an effective solution for facades exceeding 3 meters.
The system from Kinetic Facades is designed to seamlessly blend with the building's exterior cladding. It offers different versions that can be used with various materials like fiber cement, HPL, aluminum composite panels, wood, glass, ceramic, and metal sheets. You can even use the cladding material on the shading system itself. Additionally, the system provides different blade options that can be installed vertically or horizontally.
In its standard setup, the system allows for the installation of a built-in fly screen. There is also an option for complete blackout by sealing all the seams. Having a track depth of only 60mm makes it the ideal choice for use in tight spaces. For the system to function a top box is not required. As a result, the shading can be fitted on existing openings as well as make use of the whole opening from slap to slap.
