Retractable Canopies in a Backyard in Oakville | ShadeFX

Custom-designed, pre-fabricated, and ready-to-install, the outdoor structures from ShadeFX offer countless customization options and unique features that deliver robust sun and rain solutions. Freestanding canopies from ShadeFX were used in a backyard in Oakville, Ontario, Canada.

Homeowners, in collaboration with International Landscaping Inc., expanded their already beautiful backyard. For this project, ShadeFX designed and installed a 14' x 10' freestanding retractable canopy, matching the modern furniture with a Sunbrella Silver canopy fabric.

With heights from 7 ½ ft to 9 ft, the matte grey two-post structure from ShadeFX clears the BBQ and oven underneath. Whether in the kitchen or seated by the bar, the homeowners can fully or partially retract the shade to provide the desired coverage.
