Kitchen Equipment from Gaggenau was installed in a concrete beach house in Denmark.
House Design
This modern family holiday house, situated on Denmark's East coast took 20 years and 2 architects to reach completion. The new build replaced an old, narrow house, that maximized the location and sea view. Having experienced the space in the old house made it easy to draw up a new house design, having the knowledge of the sun and how to design for optimum usage. A core concept of the design was a concrete house softened with wooden elements.
The interplay between these two materials softens the harsh geometric shapes of the structure, reduces noise levels, and blends the living room, kitchen, and dining room. into one space. The architectural style and choice of material were designed and built by the studio Køkkenskabene.

The flex induction cooktop is directly served by a powerful canopy extractor, vital for open-plan living, ensuring cooking smells, heat, and vapor do not spread through the home.
