ULMA's K-SLAT is a slat system designed for ventilated facades. The system features elongated slats measuring 1800 x 200 mm, which can be installed both horizontally and vertically. This hidden fastening system does not use screws or rivets, providing a sleek and uniform appearance that enhances the natural look of the facade.
One of the key advantages of the ULMA's K-SLAT system is the ability to create attractive polychromatic effects using different textures while maintaining the same facade color. With a variety of relief textures and colors available, the design possibilities are extensive, enabling designers to produce unique facades.
Stoneo Cladding
The ventilated facade is an effective system for solving insulation problems: it eliminates thermal bridges and improves energy efficiency. In addition, the K-SLAT facade system uses Stoneo, a stone material of great quality for the exterior cladding.
ULMA's Stoneo facade cladding offers properties similar to natural stone, such as its colors, textures, solidity, and strength. Moreover, Stoneo is a non-porous material that has minimal water absorption (0.1%). This ensures complete water tightness and performance during atmospheric changes such as thaw, rain, or wind. Its low porosity also means it does not absorb dirt, resulting in minimal maintenance requirements. Composed almost entirely of natural (aggregates) and recycled components, Stoneo is a by-product of stone, making it an environmentally responsible choice for building projects.
