Ceramic Structural System in Hotel Sant Antoni | Flexbrick

The recently opened four-star boutique hotel, Sant Antoni faced a challenging renovation, part of the solution was using the Flexbrick facade system for structural interior elements.

Designed by TDB Arquitectura, the final result was conceptualized by using high-quality materials and prioritizing the comfort of the person. The original building facade and its graffiti have been maintained while the interior is new while still maintaining the typical architectural style found in Barcelona. This was achieved by using hydraulic floors and Catalan vaulted ceilings. The ceilings were structurally implemented with the use of prefabricated ceramic vaults from Flexbrick delivered in large formate concrete, created in collaboration with Arumí.
