Gresmanc Group is a Spanish company that has been producing extruded stoneware solutions for more than 30 years. Thanks to Gresmanc Group’s capacity in extrusion technology, the company can manufacture XXL Ceramic Panels, pieces of up to 1,200 x 3,000 mm.
Manufactured in extruded porcelain clinker with an alveolar structure, the XXL Ceramic Panels are an exclusive solution from the Gresmanc Group that was born to satisfy the demands of architecture and design that are increasingly opting for larger formats. Until now, the maximum plate size on the market was 1,000 mm x 3,000 mm. This new format presents plates with a total surface area of 3.6 m2 and a unit weight of 41,15 kg/m2.
Glazing
Gresmanc Group presents the development of ceramic glazes with the volume effect applied for the first time on extruded ceramics. The very method of ceramic manufacturing by extrusion has so far prevented all manufacturers from applying certain glazes on ceramic surfaces. Thanks to the implementation of cutting-edge technology, Gresmanc Group has been able to develop a pioneering glazing process that opens up a new world of aesthetic and design possibilities in finishes for ceramic ventilated facades.
Gresmanc Group presents a collection in which metallic effects and matt-gloss effects in relief are represented. For the development of these designs, the company combined a metallic engobe base, an application of reactive glue by means of inkjet technology, and a final application of a metallic granilla. The final finish is achieved by the adhesion of the granilla on the design applied with the glue layer and, in reaction with the metallic base, gives rise to a metallic effect in relief.
