Door Control System - Magnetic | M&T

M&T manufactures massive brass products in small and medium-sized series using advanced technology, but also with a large proportion of manual work to maintain high-quality products. Magnetic from M&T, a 2020 Red Dot Award winner, is a patented system with precise door control adjustments. By simply rotating the screw head, the magnet plate moves further or move closer in and thus regulates the magnetic contact force between the door and the doorframe.

Magnetic from M&T is prepared for different door variants, EU-type jamb doorframes, metal or invisible, new buildings, and renovations. Magnetic is installed in the doorframe. As a counter plate, a magnetic block is used. Magnetic can be installed by a professional joiner in an existing door in replacement of a classic door lock.

Magnetic Block

A Magnetic block made of high-quality magnetic stainless steel has to be installed in the door to make Magnetic from M&T work perfectly. The magnetic block has the possibility of adjusting. If it is necessary to align the door with the surrounding frame and the adjoining wall, the door position can be adjusted 2 mm to both sides.

A simple Magnetic block standard can be used without side adjustment.

WC Cylindrical Locks

Magnetic is a system that reliably controls and closes the door but does not lock it. For complete safe locking, a bathroom/toilet lock and security lock with cylinder have been prepared. Mini locks and a series of minimalist WC control mechanisms in round or square designs lock the door. For cylindrical locking, cylindrical rosettes with a thickness of 5 mm with a fast magnetic mounting system have been prepared.

Pull handles YES! and OKO were equipped with innovative integrated toilet locking. Minimal and Maximal pull handles were equipped with a design matching rectangular WC and cylinder locks.
