The ThermoWood process refines and modifies wood transforming its structure into a stable and durable configuration, preventing expanding, contracting, twisting, and cupping. Thermal Modification Process
ThermoWood minimizes the dehumidification and deformation behavior of timber by raising the internal temperature of the wood above 392º F in a controlled process. As a result, the deformation, warping, and splitting associated with other dehumidification processes are minimized.
