A new sushi bar, KAIDO situated in Valencia Spain, uses a Coverlam countertop material from Grespania. Designed by Mikiya Kobayashi, the concept was to represent the feeling of the natural environment in Valencia. The result is a clean modern space with materials built to last in the context of use.
Products Used
Coverlam Top from Grespania was selected due to its high-performing features, including its high strength, and resistance to heat, chemical, and damp stains. Additionally thanks to its minimal porosity, it offers a hygienic, antibacterial surface ideal for food preparation.
- Wall and Floor Tiles - The specific finish chosen is inspired by the natural stone called Blue Stone in black. The stone is used as all floor and wall tiles, drawing attention to the bar which is where the action takes place.
- Worktop - The White Basic Series was selected, made from natural raw materials offering advanced mechanical and hygienic properties. The high strength and resistance of the material maintain the original aesthetic vibrancy for longer.
