The Gaggenau combi-steam oven for the private chef is inspired by the professional kitchen. The steam oven was introduced to private kitchens 20 years ago by Gaggenau and their latest models, with a large cavity for cooking on three levels, offering today’s private chef assistance, adjustable automatic programs, exceptionally accurate temperature control, and an automated cleaning system.
Combi-steam ovens offer a large cavity with a generous net volume of 50 liters. The hygienic stainless steel cooking interior is complemented by a fully automatic cleaning system. All models boast the combination of five humidity levels with hot air and exact electronic temperature control between 30 °C - 230 °C. Featuring a full surface grill behind glass, glare-free LED lighting, and a three-point core temperature probe, accurate to a degree that revises the cooking times as the dish is cooking. Automatic programs offer culinary assistance, can be personalized, and individual recipes saved.

Features
- Automatic cleaning system
The automatic cleaning system uses a cartridge to thoroughly clean the appliance and dry the cavity completely. Available in all combi-steam ovens 400 series as well as a fixed water supply model of the 200 series.
- External steam generation
Steam is generated externally, without pressure and the appliance condenses any excess steam before the door is opened.
- Sous-vide cooking
Facilitated by a cooking function as well as the addition of the vacuuming drawer DVP221, available at 14 cm height and as a fully integrated model DV061.
