Mosaic Tiles in L'Atelier Patisserie Bathroom | Hisbalit

The L'atelier is a new unique patisserie located in the iconic district of Barcelona. Designed by Ideo Arquitectura the concept behind L'atelier was to combine the bustle of an atelier with the perfection of a boutique. Glass mosaic tiles from Hisbalit were used in the bathrooms to create a touch of sophistication.

The owners, renowned chef Eric Ortuño and Ximena Pastor, were looking to transform the newly aquired empty space into something innovative and avant garde. Based off of a glass jewelry box aesthetic, the creative space brings a striking gold colour paired with exposed elements and transparency.

“Haute couture” mosaic tiles

The space is dominated by the colours of ochre and gold. These golden tones are extended throughout the space. Hisbalit's reference 501 tile from the Urban Chic collection blends perfectly with the gold touches. The material is eco-friendly made of recycled glass.

The expressivity of the mosaic tile with a metallic touch helps to create a daring dash of “haute couture” that resembles the imagery of a jewel.
