The Duravit Starck 1 bathroom series, designed by Philippe Starck have returned to the beginnings of hygiene, body care and wellness. The Starck 1 toilet, bathtub and washbasin are descendents of their historic predecessors (the bucket, tub and washbowl) but completely reinterpreted.
Furniture
The Starck 1 barrel takes up the archaic shape of the bucket and the bowl. The classic design is topped off with Satin Matt lacquers, interior lighting and a matching mirror. When the doors are opened, the optional LED installation illuminates the interior without glare.
Toilet
Toilet with overlapping lid and bidet in perfect harmony: wall-mounted or floor standing. The toilet seat lowers automatically and closes gently and quietly with its gentle tap. The Starck 1 range also includes urinal, available with or without cover.
Bathtub and shower
The reduced rim height with 20 mm makes the Starck shower tray look delicate and lighter. The Starck shower trays are available with an anti-slip coating, to create a more secure grip in the shower.
