Duropal HPL by Pfleiderer is an ideal surface material for applications where high durability, wear resistance and hygiene requirements and high design standards play a role.
Duropal High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) is a decorative laminate made from a melamine resin impregnated decor paper layer and several core paper layers impregnated with phenol resin, which are pressed together under high pressure. The resulting material is very hardwearing, impact-resistant, temperature resistant, and easy to clean.
The range includes multiple surface and material choices for different requirements and applications. Pfleiderer Duropal HPL is available in a range of assortments, which simultaneously allows for distinct design options and functionally unique possibilities. Pfleiderer offers special laminate versions for almost every application in furniture and interior design, such as HPL XTreme with functional surface properties, HPL Magnet, HPL Real Metal, HPL ESA and HPL products in flame-retardant quality
Design Possibilities
In addition to its robustness, Duropal HPL is characterised by the design freedom opened up by the material. Pfleiderer offers a wide choice of decors and surface textures as well as the possibility of producing HPL with individually requested decors and motifs in digital printing from a run of one.
Duropal HPL is part of Pfleiderer’s DST system. This means that it is available in more than 300 decors and the corresponding surface textures, from matt to high-gloss through to realistic wood. Duropal HPL is matches the design of other products in the DST system, for example, with melamine-faced particleboards or flat-bonded elements.
