Exedra2 is a unique patented door opening system designed by Salice.‎ Its engineered mechanism enables the simultaneous opening of two linked doors and allows effortless opening and closing with one hand. Exedra2 also stands out for its practicality of use. Exedra2 can be used in various applications to enable a functional optimization of space, from walk-in wardrobes to larder units for kitchens, home office solutions, and storage applications.

The system is available in two versions:

• Exedra2 Star - the compartment that houses the mechanism is always hidden by the cover panel which is fixed to the front of the system
• Exedra2 Smart - the door edges are visible when they are folded into their compartment, meaning the doors take up less cabinet depth

Product Features

The Exedra2 pocket door system is designed with a cam-assisted door extraction and cushioned door insertion. There are no load-bearing frontal profiles on the top or bottom of the Exedra2 pocket door, which eliminates the need for additional central supports. Exedra2 is also designed without a frontal lower track, which makes it adaptable to systems raised from the ground, such as a cupboard or a chest of drawers.
