The Marley family of chairs stools and armchairs is distinguished by its soft shapes and sleek design, the ideal blend of classic appeal in a contemporary spirit.
The enveloping shell of the armchair is in metal and polyurethane foam while the seat and backrest cushions are filled with goose down to ensure superior comfort. The base of the Marley armchair is available in an array of versions whose design roots trace back to different stylistic interpretations.
In its most classic version, the Marley armchair rests on a solid wood base, in Canaletto walnut or ash, with a variety of color options. A more formal interpretation of the armchair has a swivel base with five spokes made of cast aluminum, of varying thicknesses, with rounded corners and well-balanced curves. Functionality is key in the version with a metal structure that supports the shell. A leather-covered handle detail on the back allows the armchair to be easily moved. This latter version can also be outfitted with two swivel casters on the front legs to further facilitate movement.
The Marley family also includes chairs, dining chairs and stools imbued with the same aesthetic details as the namesake armchair. The upholstery on all of the armchairs and chairs in the Marley family is completely removable and equally at ease in any of the leathers and fabrics in the exclusive Flexform collection.
