Design as memory: conceptual simplicity and influences tied to childhood memories inspired the design of the Lee sofa.
The solid wood structure – in ash and Canaletto walnut – is entirely hand-crafted, as are the woven backrest and seat made of paper rush cord. This old-fashioned but completely natural material with excellent resistance to wear is revived here as a tribute to tradition, with the satisfaction of creating something that will last a lifetime and be passed down to the next generations.
Flexform offers the option of adding soft cushions with removable upholstery.
Most of the parts used in the Lee sofa can be recycled.
