The Faeda Headquarters office, located in Vicenza, Italy, is situated at one corner of the existing production building with a detached volume and various surrounding gardens. Designed by 3dny Studio, the facade draws inspiration from the fashion industry, specifically the company's fringed leather jackets. Thus, the Bandalux B-Box roller shades are used throughout the facade's glass openings.
Facade Design
Behind the Faeda Headquarters fringe-like curtain facade, the volume is entirely glazed. The Bandalux B-Box roller shade solution protects these large openings, through the triple height of the space. The box roller shades are combined with a Polyscreen® 351 in the color white to provide solar control for indoor comfort while maintaining access to the outdoor views. The B-Box roller shades thus offer functional and aesthetic benefits as the system becomes part of the graphic facade.
B-Box System
Bandalux box roller shades are a range of functional outdoor systems with robust, weatherproof materials where the fabric is further protected inside a box that is both curtain rod and embellishment in one. Multiple sizes can be specified with various configuration options.
Bandalux B-Box shades have clean lines giving a sleek look for contemporary designs. The aluminum box enables ceiling or wall installation and easy maintenance and by opening the box, the curtain fabric can be replaced.
