A space completely reimagined, the sophisticated design of Bartlit Beck Herman Palenchar & Scott's office celebrates the past and present of the prominent Chicago law firm. The newly completed office space spans five floors of Chicago’s historic Courthouse Place, originally built in 1893. A variety of Andreu World's interior furniture is used throughout the office space.
Design Concept
Designed by Gensler, the building boasts 18′ high ceilings, 15′ high exterior windows, and a masonry vault that runs vertically through the entire building (to keep records safe in a fire). The project is a full reimagination of the structure and interior with new exit stairs, rooftop deck, shifted structural masonry walls, openings to create connecting stairs, and an entirely new flooring system throughout.
Interior Furniture
Andreu World chairs, armchairs, and loungers, are used in various seating areas to accommodate occupants and create a comfortable work environment. The interior furniture makes the project, with collections of chairs such as the Flex Chair and Barstool, which is highly ergonomic and resistant. To complement these seating arrangements, Andreu World's Reverse Conference Table is durable and increases the office's functionality while maintaining the design aesthetics.
Andreu Wolrd collections offer a versatile range of size, finish, and configuration options. The tables are highly functional allowing electrical connectivity for multimedia, while the chairs have a wide variety of bases and can be specified with accessories such as writing tablets, ganging, and numbering systems.
