More about this product

Solar facades from SolarLab invisibly integrate on-site energy production in the skin of a building and replaces both traditional facade cladding and unattractive rooftop PV installations. This frees up roof areas for rainwater management, biodiversity enhancing green roofs, and social activities, while at the same time repaying the investment. The custom-designed solar facades offer design freedom to select panelisation and mounting geometry as well as color, finish, and texture.

Solar facades are a cost-effective and beautiful way realise net-zero architecture and achieve high environmental certifications. The competitively priced systems have long life-spans, ensuring that any project can leverage the benefits of on-site energy production and sustainably contribute towards the global Net-Zero commitments while earning income and replacing fossil energy.

Manufacture

Using mono-crystalline PERC cells, tempered low-iron glass, and seaworthy aluminium SolarLab manufactures the facades in Denmark using sustainable energy from wind and hydropower, to ensure a low environmental footprint and dependability. The nano-coating used to produce a color does not fade and can be specified in a range of maintenance-free iridescent colors or uniform flat colors.

Installation

SolarLab works with local installers around the world to deliver complete solutions including custom panels, mounting and electrical design, along with high-quality electrical and monitoring systems. The unitised and modular system ensures rapid and error-free installation without lifting assistance.

Allowing panel sizes as small as 360x 360mm and as big as 1400x2400mm or 1000x3600mm, that can be flat mounted or individually angled with cladding depth of 50 to 500mm, the solar facade cladding can be customised to fit the architecture and dimensions of both recladding or new build projects.
