Custom Structures at Ten on Clarendon | ShadeFX

Ten at Clarendon delivers a promising modern apartment. Built with an emphasis on innovation, technology, and creative spaces, it is only fitting that ShadeFX provided a modern solution for retractable shade.

ShadeFX customized and installed six 18’x14’ structures, providing nearly 1,500 sq. ft. of shade coverage. As most rooftops have a waterproofing membrane, the custom frame is mounted into leveling boxes which allowed for adjustability during installation. After the posts were in place, the leveling boxes were welded down to counterweighted plates. This avoided penetrating the membrane which could cause future complications and possible leakage into the building.
