The A.B.C.D. armchair is a re-edition of the iconic A.B.C. armchair, introduced in 1996. Some substantial changes were made to the new version, launched in 2014 – like the re-design of the base and elimination of the armrest – to give it a softer look. The metal structure of the armchair comes in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome, or champagne finish. The A.B.C.D. armchair can be paired with its namesake ottoman footstool and is equipped with a state-of-the-art mechanism for reclining the seat back. An elegant accessory is also available – a convenient headrest with soft goose-down padding and a metal counterweight. The A.B.C.D. armchair was awarded an honorable mention by the international jury of the 24th ADI [Industrial Design Assn.] Compasso d’oro Award.
