Acoustic Panels in Hägerneholms School | Gustafs

The new Hägerneholms School construction is focused around acoustics and materials. The school has been designed to have open spaces without corridors which makes the acoustics in the building an important aspect from an environmental perspective.

Gustafs have produced and installed timber panels in the main entrance creating a welcoming atmosphere. The timber panels are installed on the walls and are also cladding the cubic meeting rooms that have been creatively installed in the atrium. All of the Gustafs timber panels are made in oak veneer.

The school that accommodates 600 students and 110 preschoolers is certified Gold according to the Swedish standard Environmental Building, which means that high demands are placed on energy consumption, indoor environment, air, acoustics and materials.
