The renovation of this 1964 church won high ratings for well-executed design composition. It has a bright interior with harmonious, well-balanced elements. The existing stained-glass windows were the starting point for the design of the terrazzo floor which needed to match that beauty.
Cast-in-place terrazzo steps span the width of the chapel to delineate the sanctuary. The design is characterized by subtle symbolism, focused on the baptismal font, in four-color terrazzo. Aggregates provided by Terrazzo & Marble-Supply Companies were distributed by hand without divider strips to form free-flowing elements.
