Schöck group supplies acoustic and thermal insulation solutions internationally. Thermal bridges on cantilevers often lead to increased heat loss, damp walls, and mold formation. The Schöck Isokorb® type XT or T type SK and SQ minimize thermal bridges on cantilevered steel and timber connections to reinforced concrete elements.
Efficient Thermal Breaks
The innovative support beam fastenings make any steel and timber structure durable, safe and visually attractive. They allow for a high degree of prefabrication, thus reducing on-site installation time to a minimum. Since Schöck Isokorb® is load-bearing, it can easily be used to resolve the technical and structural issues of designing modern balconies.
Types
Isokorb® T type SK Load-bearing thermal insulation element with 80mm insulation thickness for steel constructions to concrete slabs. | Isokorb® T type SQ Load-bearing thermal insulation element with 80mm insultaion thickness for supported steel constructions to concrete slabs. |
Isokorb® XT type SK Load-bearing thermal insulation element with 120mm insulation thickness for steel constructions to concrete slabs. | Isokorb® XT type SQ Load-bearing thermal insulation element with 120mm insulation thickness for supported steel constructions to concrete slabs. |
BIM Libraries
You can use Schöck’s BIM libraries to easily and quickly integrate the detailed Schöck application into your overall building plans. These libraries are available for the standard Schöck Isokorb® product portfolio (reinforced concrete-reinforced concrete, reinforced concrete-steel and steel-steel) for Allplan, ArchiCAD and Revit.
