Schöck group is a thermal break specialist; for concrete façades, Schöck Isolink® provides an energy-efficient alternative to conventional stainless steel dowels when connecting the concrete layers of core-insulated sandwich panel walls. As a ‘Certified Passive House Component’, Schöck Isolink® gives dependable thermal separation in core-insulated concrete façades. This is achieved by the exceptionally low thermal conductivity of Schöck's Combar® glass fiber composite.
Types

Isolink® type C-EH A façade fastener made of Combar® glass fiber composite for core-insulated sandwich panel walls. The bar has slanted ends that make it invisible on the surface of the finished concrete façade. | Isolink® type C-ED A glass fiber façade fastener that acts as both connector and spacer in core-insulated sandwich panel walls. The Isolink® type TA-D has straight ends. |

Isolink® type C-SH A glass fiber façade fastener for core-insulated sandwich panel walls, with slanted ends and a depth stop for high quality concrete walls. | Isolink® type C-SD A glass fiber façade fastener for core-insulated sandwich panel walls, with straight ends and a depth stop for high quality concrete walls. |
High Functionality and Safety
Schöck Isolink® acts as a connector and spacer between concrete layers within a wall. It is suitable both for supported and self-supporting façades and facilitates large-scale panel sizes up to 6 x 12 m before requiring an expansion joint.
Installation
Schöck Isolink® is a compact element that is easy to install which helps to improve cost efficiency when prefabricating concrete building components. The round bar is easy to insert into the thermal insulation layer. It is a system that is suitable for any core-insulated wall.
