Cupa Pizarras R&D team focuses on the development of new solutions in natural slate. The result is CUPACLAD® Design; Offset is the 7th design in a group of ever-growing design concepts showcasing the boundless possibilities of natural slate rainscreen cladding systems.
CUPACLAD® Offset
For CUPACLAD® Offset, Cupa Pizarras transformed a traditional material to create a contemporary design. The resulting ventilated facade mixes tradition with modernity and a stylish dark grey and black finish.
Specifications
This natural slate ventilated facade design combines two asymmetric slate formats. This design uses an irregular pattern to create a modern version of a rustic style inspired by traditional stone facades.
Format | Asymmetric |
Nominal thickness | 7,65 mm |
Number of slates/m2 | 17 units/m² |
Weight/m2 (slate) | ≤30 kg/m² |
Fixing | 2 invisible, flathead screws |
Installation
Offset uses the same screws as Cupa Pizarras CUPACLAD® 101 series. Each natural slate unit is fixed by two flathead screws that remain invisible when overlapping the slate units.
Slate Cladding
CUPACLAD® natural slate cladding systems provide a contemporary design to complement a versatile and efficient ventilated cladding system. The system uses the latest fixing solutions with highly durable structural natural slate to produce a sustainable alternative for any cladding requirement.
Natural slate is a unique material that lasts for more than 100 years, it adapts perfectly to any type of project and facade. Cupa Pizarras consciously adapt slate to the newest design trends, which seek more ecological, durable and, at the same time, attractive solutions.
