Project
Located close to Munich, the Skin and Laser Center opened in 2016. The core business of the practice is classical and aesthetical dermatology. Beauty treatments and laser surgery are also available at the 680 sqm site.
The texture of skin is at the heart of the design concept by Reimann Interior & Design. The wall design incorporates the hexagonal shape of skin cells. The interior features custom-made concrete cubes used in different areas. Natural materials are prevalent while the color concept is based on different skin tones.
Solution
Kvadrat Acoustic Broadline panels upholstered in Casa textile are installed in the ceiling. Soft Cells are acoustic panels from Kvadrat Acoustics. Made with recycled aluminum and with a textile finish the acoustic panels are tensioned to withstand humidity and temperature conditions.
Julius Reimann of Reimann Interior & Design placed great importance on creating a visually innovative, acoustically-efficient and top-quality ceiling. The end result is fully reversible. Kvadrat Acoustics facilitated the designers to achieve their aesthetic vision while meeting the complex technical challenges of the lighting, air conditioning, and room acoustics. In addition, soft cell acoustic panels complimented the aesthetic appeal of the trapezoid form language.
