Recessed Downlight - Illusione | Alcon Lighting®

Illusione by Alcon Lighting is a trimless, recessed architectural direct downlight fixture that sits flush with the wall. It is designed for aesthetics, durability and energy efficiency for low to medium ceiling heights. The clarity and brightness lend themselves for use in retail hospitality, commercial and high-end residential settings. The fitting comes in a round and a square version.

Alcon Lighting has used Chip On Board LED (COB) technology which combines multiple LED sources to which makes them less prone to failure, more efficient and with a lower operating temperature than a single LED unit. COB also increases the possible lumen output giving Illusione lights their brightness.

The LED is housed in die-cast aluminum which can be secured to existing sheetrock or panel ceilings up to 1" thick. The reflector and trim are secured to the housing frame or sheetrock with drywall screws secured to the trim-ring.

For retail settings, the Multifaced Specular Reflector may prove especially useful because it gives a higher degree of beam control and a choice of color temperatures:

• 2700K Warm White
• 3500K Soft White
• 4000K Cool White
