Copper Surface - Premium | TECU®

TECU® Premium is a copper alloy that contains a small proportion of high-grade tin for easy processing. The result is an extraordinary appearance from the very beginning and a copper surface that oxidizes intensively and rapidly.

Finish

The material has a finely beaded pre-structure and a matte finish. Subtle reflections ensure an elegant appearance when light strikes it. Its particular surface structure causes a special oxidation pattern: it oxidizes faster and more intensively and evenly, with a more matte finish than the plain rolled TECU® surface finishes.

Use

TECU® Premium is well suited for both modern cladding techniques and traditional metalwork craftsmanship. The material is slightly harder than traditional copper and can be more easily and efficiently soldered thanks to its tin content.
