The PC-SM1AC is Fastmount™'s first clip specifically designed for the use with acoustic panels, conceptualized with the help of acoustic panel manufacturers, Autex in New Zealand. With a flexible composition, the clip has just a 2kg pull out load, making it ideal for the very lightweight nature of many acoustic panels.
Compatible with any of the female clips in the Fastmount™ Standard Range, mounting into PC-F1A, PC-SF1, PC-RF1, and PC-AF1, the use of the PC-SM1AC ensures that neither panel nor frame is damaged upon removal, which facilitates and reduces turnaround time for seasonal or half-life fit-outs. It easily attaches to most acoustic fabrics using hot glue or single pot sealant and mounts into all-female clips in the Standard Range for versatile application.
The acoustic surface mount male is an extension of the panel mounting system, designed for use with acoustic or extremely lightweight panels. The acoustic male clip can be bonded to the panel using SuperGroove® Adhesive or in the case of polyester fiber composition acoustic panels, hot melt glue.
