Interior design is the art of creation of space inside a building to achieve a more aesthetically environment for those who live in it. Remaining works from hundreds and thousands of years ago are evidence of the ancient art of interior design in Iran. Considering the historical background of this art in Iran, the first Interior Design Award was established in 2009 as an independent event by Honar-e Memari Institute.
Following the success of previous editions in Venice and Chicago, the next edition of Shaping the City is scheduled to take place on the 5th and 6th of October, 2023, in New Orleans at the AIA, Center for Design and at the F. Taylor Library, Ogden Museum.
Building a Collective Archive: A Yale Traveler's Mnemosyne is a curatorial project that explores the impact and update of personal references in constructing a collective imaginario - a repository of collective imagination.
