🔖 Renewable energies or new ways of producing it - How to become fully energy independent?

SUMMARY //
In 2020 we started the second phase of competitions to address the issues of tomorrow.
In line with our style, we propose 9+2 themes – eleven critical topics to work on. Rather than a program, a research ecosystem composed of various competitions running in parallel and exploring the same theme from different perspectives.
Our exploration journey will continue with theme six: ENERGY.

BRIEF IN SHORT //
The world is experiencing the first truly global energy crisis in history.
Participants are asked to propose conceptual ideas for a scenario where there’s no global energy grid and cities, buildings, units or single individuals, have to be fully energy independent, either through renewable energies or creative new ways of producing and storing it.

ELIGIBILITY //
Non Architecture Competitions are open to all human beings, from every age and cultural background, working in groups or individually. The registration fee is paid per team, regardless of how many members form it. Personal information of all the team members can be uploaded during the submission procedure of the final drawing.

15 – 30 September – 2nd registration period (47,50 €*).
1 – 14 October – 3rd registration period (55 €*).
15 – 31 October – 4th registration period (62,50 €*).
1 – 14 November – 5th registration period (70 €*).
15 – 30 November – 6th registration period (77,50 €*).
1 – 14 December – 7th registration period (85 €*).
15 – 31 December – 8th registration period (92,50 €*).
