EXHIBITION DETAILS
Perfect Spaces: Paintings by Ben Johnson
16 June - 30 June 2021
The V&A has teamed up with Make Architects to transform its John Madejski Garden into a digital pavilion to house the stunningly detailed works of artist Ben Johnson. Accessible by a dedicated website, visitors will enter a digitally rendered gallery, located in the heart of the V&A. Navigating a series of 12 pavilions set in a sweeping circular arrangement, they will be able to view Johnson's large-scale paintings depicting his long engagement with architecture – from Crystal Palace to the Neues Museum – and learn about his meticulous process through short films and a virtual studio tour. This exhibition is part of the London Festival of Architecture.
