Duravit’s new HygieneFlush flushing technology is the latest in its range of hygiene features to take bathroom cleanliness, as wells as water efficiency, to the next level.
Making a big fuss about hygiene is not really Duravit's thing. The designer bathroom manufacturer prefers, as a matter of course, to let its innovative technologies do the talking and uses the intoxicating flushing power of a vortex to set new hygiene standards. Now, with the HygieneFlush system, Duravit is ensuring even greater levels of cleanliness.
Two openings on the flush rim generate a powerful flush flow that optimally cleans the entire inner surface of the toilet. The combination of the rotary flush with the open flush rim of the Duravit Rimless technology means that cleaning of the entire surface is both comprehensive and efficient. The open design of the rim area also makes the bowl itself easy to clean and maintain.
The innovative technology is supported by Duravit's unique, antibacterial HygieneGlaze ceramic glaze, which thoroughly eliminates bacteria with the help of the oligodynamic effect. The glaze is baked into the interior right up to the rim of the toilet and dramatically inhibits bacterial proliferation. After 24 hours, approx. 99.9 percent of existing bacteria have been killed.
The HygieneFlush technology is available with a number of Duravit's WC models, including the ME by Starck series. In addition, there is the option of equipping the toilet as a SensoWash® shower toilet, a comfortable cleaning experience with benefits in relation to sustainability whether in private homes, hotels or public buildings.
