About the Speaker
Ifeoma Ebo is an experienced Urban Strategist that has harnessed design and management capabilities to lead projects in architecture, urban revitalization, community / large scale masterplanning and neighborhood studies. She has held leadership positions in New York City government and is a highly sought-after consultant on city design and sustainable development strategy for city governments and civic institutions internationally. She serves on Advisory Boards for the Mayor of Helsingborg, Sweden H22 Smart City Initiative, Association for Community Design and the NYC-based collective BlackSpace – a coalition of Black urbanists focused on supporting Black communities in developing new tools for cultural preservation in the midst of gentrification. She is a Visiting Critic and Lecturer at Cornell University, Syracuse University and Columbia University. Ifeoma holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University and a Master in City Design and Development from MIT.
