Apurva Bose Dutta, the author is an award-winning architectural journalist from India and has focussed 12 years of her career on deliberating on architecture through various print and digital media. Armed with a degree in architecture from Chandigarh College of Architecture, and a diploma in freelance journalism from the UK, she has been actively involved with initiating and promoting the subject of architectural journalism in India. In 2016, she was invited by the Australian Government to represent the Indian delegation in an international media visit of architectural writers in Melbourne.
Apurva brings together some of the renowned “missionaries of Indian architecture” who have given the profession its identity. The book talks about architecture being an integral part of building a nation and has takeaways for all genres of readers including those from the architecture and building industry, the students’ community, and the common man.
