Call for Entries: Phosphorus - A Design Competition for a Series of Illuminated Structures

Phosphorus a design competition for a series of illuminated structures. The Phosphorus competition involves the design of a series of illuminated structures and lighting displays at the Cultural Village of Lemba, Paphos, Cyprus for the summertime Lemba Lights Festival.

CYSOA has identified five areas of interest in which we are looking to highlight them by forming a light-source into a focal point at night but during the day to become a sculptural object within the landscape.

The five areas are located at:

  1. Lemba Municipal Beach
  2. The Chalcolithic Archeological Site
  3. The Cyprus College of Art
  4. The New Plaza
  5. Lemba Valley

The participants have the opportunity to either select to submit a single site of an area they find of interest or they can choose to explore all five areas through the multiple site submission.
