Architects Rene Daniels Ayala + Miguel Angel Lozano Vargas + Adriana Hernández Quicazan have designed a proposal from the housing of the Colombian Soccer Team, along with vegetal trails and sports fields, on the site of the main open and public space of Bogotá, the Parque Simón Bolívar in Bogotá, Colombia. The design proposes an articulation of the Metropolitan Park in its relationship to the rest of the city.

The development of the landscape is based on the use of native vegetation to create a mode of natural seperation between the housing sector and the sports fields through trails and networks. The team uses the vegetation to establish a sense of tranquility and relaxation in the housing sector of the national team using the landscape as a set of frames in a variety of tones, scales and densities. The compliments of softscape and hardscape along with soft and hard surfaces further enforces this relationship that the architects attempt to establish between the park and the five buildings.
The compilation of the five buildings that make up the housing sector and the natural interventions among them produce a framentation of the architecture that allows plant life to become integral to the proposed development of the park.
Red-painted wooden bridges connect the buildings uniting the five structures while freeing the ground to natural vegetation. The intention of balancing man-made structure with the natural landscape of the park enhances the edges of the city , the park and the project in a delicate way to preserve the importance of Parque Simón Bolívar in Bogotá, Columbia.
