The BCN Summer Workshops is a revolutionary program by IAAC, designed to connect some of the most pioneering minds of Barcelona with like-minded creatives from all around the world. Our 4-day workshops will take place in the Valldaura Estate, located inside the Collserola Natural Park, 30 minutes away from Barcelona. The program will start on July 24th with an inaugural speech from the world-acclaimed chef, Ferran Adriá (date TBC).
The program offers six different workshops from a wide range of disciplines led by experts from the fields of Lighting Design, Typography, Land Art, Performance, Big Data and Architecture. BCN Summer Workshops is a one-of-a-kind experience to create, learn and share in an inspiring, familiar atmosphere surrounded by the best talent from one of the world's most creative hubs.
The full program will be divided in two weeks. Three workshops will take place during the first week from the 24th to 27th of July (Lighting Design, Land Art and Typography) and the remaining three, during the second and last week from July 31st to August 3rd (Data Visualization, Performance and Architecture).
The 4-days programs, designed as immersive experiences, are taught in English and their fee includes accommodation and meals. Courses are conceived this way to create an interactive and diverse atmosphere in which participants will not only share with the leading experts from each field, but also with other creative minds coming from different backgrounds.
