Description of project:
To build a residential and commercial development on the property of JHL Immobilien GmbH / Steinel Immobilien AG, spanning a surface of 24,318.00 sq metres. At present, there is an office building and a manufacturing hall on the site – these are to be converted.

• Publication of tender 12.05.2017

• Planning documents must be submitted by 29.09.2017
• Model must be submitted by 20.10.2017

Who can apply?
All qualified experts in the fields of urban development, architecture and landscape architecture can apply. The competition is an international tender and independent from public procurement. The tendered task requires the participants to form teams of architects and landscape architects. Moreover, the expertise of structural engineers, energy consultants, traffic planners, spatial planners or environmental engineers shall be consulted. The competition will be in German language.

Award:
The developers will award the sum of CHF 160,000.00 including VAT for the competition.

Obtaining the tender documents:
The tender will be published in the gazette (Amtsblatt) of the Canton of Schwyz (CH), the TEC21 magazine and in the international press. Contractual specifications as well as registering and application forms can be obtained via www.konkurado.ch and www.steinel-areal.ch.

Request for participation and application documents:
Requests for participation in the competition have to be submitted to Steinel Solutions AG, Allmeindstrasse 10, CH-8840 Einsiedeln by 23 June 2017 at the latest.
