Minecraft Brutalist Build Bring your own laptops along and design us a Brutalist building on the RIBA Minecraft server. Wifi and power sources will be provided, as well as expert advice from Blockworks. Access images of Brutalist buildings from the RIBA’s collection via our online image catalogue, RIBA Pix for inspiration. Ready, Set, Building Tour! 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm For one day only, our building tours are free of charge and come with a twist! Learn about the history of the RIBA and our beautiful headquarters and play for prizes along the way. Tours last approximately 45 minutes and leave from the reception desk.
The Day of Play Display As part of the Brutalist Playground, the RIBA has been working with local communities who live on the estates featured in the installation. This display is the culmination of these projects and includes work from Open Age groups in North Kensington and Westminster, and Islington Play Association. Also open all day: The Brutalist Playground installation, a new commission by Turner Prize nominees Assemble and artist Simon Terrill, is free and open to anyone who wants to kick off their shoes and play.
