New Casino in Montrond-les-Bains in France design by DATA ARCHITECTES, Leonard Lassagne + Colin Reynier. Rather melt into the landscape is characterized by a quiet, unassuming beauty: it is relatively low, consisting of six volumes as “performed” in the meadow adjacent to the beautiful city park and linked by faults transparent, d a tone combining the clarity of glass and perforated metal skin lacquered. While lightweight, it does not attack the landscape, does not enter into competition with the adjacent buildings and does not disturb the cows grazing nearby. He instead offers a serene architecture that offers framed views of the 360 degrees of the horizon near.
The volumes that make up the new altimetry are contrasted on a common “plinth” perimeter of glass, thus strengthening the overall balance of the outline of the Casino and its institutional character.
The party location, to install independent blocks within a large meadow, allows easy integration with term extensions of the Casino by simply adding new volumes with identical properties, without altering either the general concept or architectural quality and integration of our project site.
The project seeks to preserve as much identity landscape of the site of the future Casino de Montrond-les-Bains, an expanse of flat grassland punctuated by a few subjects of high stem. The bias thus relieve physical permanence inside the parcel, the horizons of proximity and continuity of the visual landscape marked by near the medieval castle built on an emerging basalt that dominates the city and the Loire as on the broad skies of Plain Drill. The glass sheet devices of the six blocks from the Casino and large transparencies available to the interior patios and to give an overall feeling of lightness and “floating” above the meadow.
