LEGO Group’s Development Department / Bosch & Fjord Bosch & Fjord have designed a space for LEGO Group’s Development Department in Billund that is both visually and socially stimulating for its employees and visitors. As a multinational workplace, cooperation and knowledge sharing is essential for the employees and thus the interior design of their department. Qantas Sydney First Lounge The Qantas Sydney First Lounge is a pre-flight departure lounge for premium Qantas customers. Located at the Sydney International Terminal, it offers 180 degree views of Sydney city and Botany Bay and welcomes more than 150,000 guests per year. Penthouse in Andorra / Arteks Arquitectura Maintaining fluidity within the requirements ordained by this particular living space was one of the principal objectives of this Project. Instead of subdividing the surface area with traditional walls, new walls were designed with a certain thickness, texture and color. Office interior in a former bicycle factory / Rotstein Arkitekter Office interior in a former bicycle factory from the 1890s, in central Stockholm. In 2007, Rotstein Arkitekter relocated. The new office is in a listed industrial building from the 1890s. The architects used the building’s original features to create a unique office space. The high ceilings allow for a demountable room, containing two separate conference rooms, in the middle of the floor. A series of meeting points have been created, with varying degrees of openness, in which the visual contact with the rest of the office is maintained (read more…)
Scandinave Les Bains Vieux / Saucier + Perrotte architectes Located in the heart of historic Old Montreal and facing the vibrant piers of Old Port, Scandinave Les Bains Vieux-Montréal is an urban spa whose purpose is to provide a thermal therapy experience that engages each of the body’s senses. The building, rebuilt half a century ago after extensive fire damage, has housed warehouse functions until recently when it was acquired by the new owners: the new spa is positioned at the ground/entrance level (read more…)
