Professionalism and individual attention
The School of Architecture has a diverse teaching body made up of architecture professionals who provide good quality individual attention. The university’s teaching ratio is 15 students per lecturer/professor and each student is also assigned an academic advisor and a professional coach.
Now in English!
Students learn to defend and present their projects in English using vocabulary and terminology that are specific to architecture. Because of this, the first year is taught exclusively in English and additional subjects are taught in English throughout the degree program.

UIC believes in training architects to be at the service of society. It is the only architecture school in Spain that teaches compulsory modules on cooperation, sustainability and accessibility.
Cutting-edge technology
The school has a modeling studio filled with all types of analogical and digital machinery (lasers, numerical control machines and rapid prototyping 3D machines) that are managed by an expert to guide the work processes.
Cultural Activities
Foros, or a series of lectures given by prestigious national and international architects, are held to complement the program. A Vertical Workshop is also held each year. It is an intensive week-long workshop that involves building previously-designed community interest projects.
Developing a Professional future
The School of Architecture has two University-Business Chairs that help coordinate opportunities to work at companies within different fields of architecture, in addition to a comprehensive job bank. In recent years 85% of students have graduated with jobs.

The Scholarship for Academic Excellence is a new scholarship program to encourage and develop young talent. These grants account for 80% of the cost of tuition and may be renewed each year.
