Text description provided by the architects. The Free Press Monument is a gesture in glass.
Crystal clear, solid, but as delicate as freedom itself. It represents a perennial fight and reflects the culture of our people, based on common sense.
Comes from there this translucent, dynamic shape which tears the space in two moments:
One for advancing in the facts, in the truth, and another, free to expose itself and speak loud at the world.
That is how a spot on the federal capital emerges in order to shelter the International Press Center but, mostly, it is introduced, the home for the symbol of all journalists.
