Daily life and transition: From public to private
These 40 homes are located on the outskirts of the Maimona Saints; an industrial area which has been growing for residential purposes. The aim of the project is that the houses must be linked to public space. The patio turns into a transitional space between the street and the private areas. We propose the construction of covered galleries, extensions of the street itself, or rather, of one´s home that encourages local relations.
The result of the project is an urban stroll that starts in the street, from where you can see the Sierra of San Cristobal, and continuing up to the entrance of each house. These covered galleries will make people feel connected to their neighbors.
