Over the next few weeks, a series of fundraising benefits dedicated to educating the public about New York City’s architecture is being hosted by Private Spaces/Private Access. Openhousenewyork (OHNY) will host five cocktail receptions in an effort to promote awareness about design to all who participate.
More information after the break.
During these receptions, architects and designers will lead tours and talk about their work. The events are held at differing locations, yet all are on Thursday evenings from 6.30 until 8.30 pm. A series ticket ($500) guarantees admission to all fives events, and a single event ticket is priced at ($125). Special guest Paul Goldberger, an architecture critic for The New Yorker, will speak on June 18 at the Modulightor.
The locations for the OHNY cocktail receptions are as follows:
- May 28 The FLAG Art Foundation
- June 4 Fairfax and Sammons Residence
- June 11 Classic Townhouse, Modern Living
- June 18 Modulightor
- June 25 Broadway Penthouse
Proceeds from these events will be used to educate thousands about architecture and design.
