Architecture + Art merging via photography, by Paul Clemence, are a collection of photographs at the exhibit, “BOOM (Design) Contemporaneo” taking place from August 29th to October 10th in Sao Paulo, Brazil and is free to the public.
Zaha Hadid, Paul Clemence, Milano, Design, Massimiliano Fuksas, Frankfurt, Shopping, New York and Art are all converging in this one place via Paul Clemence’s photography at BOOMSPDESIGN 2011. More information on the exhibit after the break.
A guest speaker at the much hyped art+design forum BOOMSPDESIGN, 2011 edition, Paul Clemence’s unique abstractions will also be part of the forum’s parallel exhibit curated by Brazilian design promoter Roberto Cocenza.
“Photography is the ultimate connector! Transcends space and time. All the new technology, social media and etc, are just conduits, vessels, they are not the connection itself; it’s the content that makes the actual connection. And in that photography plays a major role bringing to it the seduction of visual allure”, says the photographer.
Globe-trotting around the world with his camera always within reach, Clemence has his eyes on the latest relevant new architecture and has made a career of capturing its most expressive side and sharing it with us.
“There is an emotionality to Paul Clemence’s work that is like none other I’ve seen come from the lens of an architectural photographer,” says Saxon Henry, a journalist, author and co-founder of adroyt social media agency. “His ability to capture the personality inherent in architecture, both great and mundane, is truly poetic.”
In Sao Paulo, Clemence will be showing a few takes on projects by two prominent architects: Zaha Hadid and Massimiliano Fuksas. The two designers, known for their radical, sleek sensual designs, provided perfect subject matter for Clemence’s dynamic and elegant compositions that single handedly inform and delights us as it portrays the architecture.
